.22 CALIBER INDOOR COMPETITION

RESULTS

DATE, TIME AND COST

Ten weekly shoots will be held, nine shoots for score and a tenth week for shoot offs and awards.

The competition will run for 10 consecutive weeks beginning Wednesday, January 9, 2008.

The range will be manned for scoring each Wednesday from 12:00 noon until 8:00 pm and each Sunday from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm.

Cost to participate weekly will be $4.00 per shooting class for adults, $2.00 for youths.

PRIZES

1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place prizes will be presented in each class with sufficient participants. The Scoped Rifle class will be broken by score to form classes A, B, and C.

1^st place - $25,

2^nd place – $15,

3^rd place - $10.

THE RULES

First and foremost, while the objective of the indoor .22 league is competitive fun, we are deadly serious about safety. The range rules are prominently posted and are to be observed and enforced by all – open those actions and watch those muzzles!

The name of our club is the Jefferson Sportsman’s Association. Please conduct yourself accordingly.

Rifle shooters - If your heavy barrel gun or shooting skill increases your scores dramatically above the norm, please put yourself in the appropriate (Expert) class.

Any perfect rifle score (40/40) automatically puts the shooter in the Expert class.

All shooting will be done from an offhand position. Support aids are not permitted. Support aids include slings, palm rests, shooting coats, leaning on walls, etc.

Make-ups for missed weeks will be permitted thru the 9^th Sunday.
All shooters of school age are encouraged to shoot in our youth rifle class. Supervision by an adult is required.
