Strawberry Fest/Wildlife Presentation

We had good attendance for our meeting with Strawberries and ice cream. After having a very brief meeting in which we presented our annual Roy Wagner scholarship award to John Dottereich, everyone settled in with their strawberries and ice cream ready for the presentation from Miller’s Wildlife and Conservation Specialist, Patrick Miller.

The presentation on the reptiles, amphibians, and small birds of Pennsylvania was very informative and entertaining. Patrick brought in and showed us a box turtle, Red tail Hawk, Barn owl, Grey horned owl and a black snake. Miller’s Wildlife was founded in 2019 with the goal of bringing audiences of all ages closer to the wildlife that lives in their own backyards.
